Consultation and Treatment Planning
Free Initial Consultation in Hungary
Initial consultations in Hungary are free of charge.
A panoramic X-ray is required to assess your oral health during the consultation. If you already have a recent panoramic X-ray, our dentist may be able to use it. Otherwise, we can take a panoramic X-ray for a fee of €40.
If you begin treatment within 60 days, the €40 X-ray fee will be deducted from your total treatment costs.
Following your initial consultation, you will receive a personalised treatment plan. This plan is valid for 90 days.
Changes to Your Treatment Plan
Your treatment plan may need to change during treatment, either at your request or because your clinical circumstances have changed.
We will explain any proposed changes, their consequences, and the available alternatives. You will receive a revised treatment plan for your agreement.
You may decide to discontinue treatment at any stage during this process. If you do so, you will only be required to pay for the treatment and laboratory work already provided.
Temporary Restorations and Follow-Up Appointments
Temporary dentures, crowns, and bridges must only be used for the period recommended in your treatment plan. Using them beyond this period may damage your remaining natural teeth or dental implants.
Prolonged use of temporary restorations may place unsuitable pressure on natural teeth and damage their supporting structures, including the gums and bone. This can increase tooth mobility and may eventually lead to tooth loss.
Crowns, bridges, and dentures do not function in exactly the same way as natural teeth. Poorly fitted temporary restorations may also cause persistent irritation around implants and may contribute to implant failure.
If you do not follow the treatment schedule and refuse to attend your next appointment within two to four weeks of the recommended date stated in your treatment plan, our clinics reserve the right to withdraw any discounts previously agreed.
Refusal or Discontinuation of Treatment
Our clinics reserve the right to refuse or discontinue treatment at any time, without an obligation to pay compensation, if:
-
You are considered medically or psychologically unsuitable for the recommended treatment.
-
You have not fulfilled your payment obligations.
-
You have withheld information or provided false or incomplete details about your medical history or current condition.
-
There are professional, medical, or ethical reasons for refusing or discontinuing treatment.
Guarantees
Different guarantee conditions apply to different types of dental work. Our clinics and dentists will provide detailed information about the guarantee applicable to your treatment.
The durability and function of dental work depend on several factors, including:
-
The condition of your teeth, gums, and supporting bone.
-
Your overall oral hygiene.
-
Smoking.
-
Diabetes.
